FAQ's

Semi Permanent Cosmetic Make-Up is cosmetic tattooing, where pigments are placed in the dermal layer of skin be sterilised needle. The pigments are typically made of pure, inorganic minerals, that are hypo-allergenic, fragrance-free and emollient free.

Semi-Permanent Make-Up can last anything from six months to two years. It really depends on machine and pigment the salon uses, and how well your skin takes the pigment. No two people are the same. Whilst there is no definite answer on this.

Topical anaesthetics are used before the procedure to numb the area and minimise any discomfort. For most people it isn’t a problem. A lot of clients anticipate the procedure will be painful but are surprised that the procedure isn’t as bad as they thought it would be.

No, any eyebrow hair that is there will be left to blend in with tattooed hair strokes.

Semi Permanent Make Up is not suitable for: Pregnant women, those with exceptionally oily skin, Lupus, impaired autoimmune system disorders, keloid scarring, those taking steroid treatments, active skin disorders, blood disorders, advanced diabetes, eye disorders(eyeliner). Those undergoing chemotherapy or other health issues will need advice from their doctor.
The procedure is considered permanent, these procedures do have flexibility in changing colours and shape to some extent, depending on the expertise of your technician. The results of permanent make up on the day, are unlikely to be healed results. Most pigments will fade by 40-60%  after treatment. If you feel your brows or lips are too bright, just wait for the treatment to heal. It’s a two procedures and after 4 weeks after the initial appointment, the treatment will be reinforced and you will see the full, healed result after, once you’ve completed the appointments. The only reason you should not like your permanent cosmetics is if you choose the technician who did not work with you on design and colour. Most well-trained technicians will not perform a procedure if the design and/or colour requested by the client is not reasonable. If your requests are turned down by one or more technicians, re-think what you are asking for.
Permanent cosmetic are not easily removed. Make good decision up front!
